Vegetative growth and foliar nutrient contents of peach on different clonal rootstocks

Abstract: The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect 19 clonal rootstocks on vegetative growth and foliar nutrient contents 'BRS Kampai' Rubimel' peach (Prunus persica) trees. In period 2014 2018, two field trials were carried out in municipalities Jarinu Jundiaí, state São Paulo, Brazil. BRS Kampai Rubimel cultivars, budded rootstocks, besides their own-rooted scions, evaluated respectively. Jarinu, Barrier, Cadaman, 'Capdeboscq', Flordaguard, GxN9, I-67-52-4, 'Okinawa', México Fila-1, Nemared, Tsukuba-2, Tsukuba-3 as well scion, showed best performance for contents. all genotypes, except Marianna 2624 Mirabolano 29C, did not show any statistical difference regarding growth. is similar that traditional such 'Okinawa'. Therefore, scion cultivars may be an interesting alternative sites with suitable biotic abiotic soil conditions.
